To all those who have e-mailed me about boards, I should have the new run here soon, maybe even today! (UPDATE – FedEx says Tuesday, 12/2) I’ll send each who requested an e-mail when I have them in hand.
Mike, KD2DYY sent me some pics of his build – nice work! He did have some issues with the version of code, and the cable sets he was using – make sure you’re using the latest code (V1.5) that can be found on the build page:
Also, do make sure that the RCA cables you are using are good – I am using a set of cables that were from an old AV piece of gear. It’s original use was to carry Left and Right audio, and composite video, and it seems to work fine in this application. Mike had to try 3 different cable sets before he got it working. Here are some pics of his build:
Nice work, Mike!
Please disregard previous comment. I was typing and it disappeared. Don’t know if it got sent. How do I send pix?
Not sure how you can post pics, but if you have a few pics of a build you can send them to me at my callsign @ my callsign.com and I’ll post them!
Can you please tell me how can I get a U1 chip Arduino I received the PCB today and have all other parts
Your help would be greatly Appreciated

You will need an Arduino Duemilanove board – do a Google search on Arduino to learn more. U1 is the Arduino Duemilanove board, not a chip.
What’s your source for the case? The boards look like a great fit and the color fits with the kenwood nicely.
I thought I bought it on eBay, but I can’t seem to find it in my purchase history. It’s an extruded aluminum, anodized box that I paid $11 for (I think). If I find my source, I’ll post it!
